Nature’s Movement. Captured using my Nikon D7000. Caught this photo of the moon coming over the horizon at Sandy’s Beach while a wave rolls in. Really love the way it imparts how powerful nature is and the “movement” of nature.

Shadow. Taken with my Nikon D7000. Loved the way the light was behind the subject so it put the subject in the dark. Also loved the colors in the background. It’s always fun taking a picture of a photographer :).
Support. Taken with my Nikon D7000. I was walking to work one day when I saw this elderly gentleman get out of his car. I noticed that he was missing a leg when he came out of the car, although you couldn’t tell by the ease in which he exited his vehicle. You’re only handicapped if you let yourself be.
Bubbles Make Me Happy. I noticed this girl at the last Punahou Carnival who was having such a grand time blowing bubbles. It made me think about how much we lose as we grow older and taken on the burdens of “living” life. Its always the simple things that bring us the most joy, but as we grow older, we surround ourselves with this complexity and more physical goods on the road to trying to make ourselves happy again. Maybe we need to go back to the simple things. Taken with my Nikon D7000.
Joy in Flight. Took this picture at the Punahou Carnival. The carnival draws thousands of people over the span of two days from all over Oahu. The various rides are a huge draw to a lot of the people there as can be seen by the huge smiles (and looks of terror) on some of the people. Taken with my Nikon D7000.
